What is the word for that gap between buttons on the front of a shirt or blouse when the person is too big?

For example, the gap in a shirt when a man's belly strains the shirt or a woman's breasts pull the gap open.

Buttons can gap no matter your size or the fit. It depends on the material of the clothing and the space size between buttons.
- I don't think there's a scientific word for it. Just call it "gapage". There. Try and get it publshed in the dictionary, but give me credit. LOL
